Strengths:  still makes your system slow but not so bad
Weaknesses:  none
Review:  I think this year McAfee virus software has been improved a little compared with all previous versions. Upon installation, my computer system was still slowed down but not as bad as last year when the software froze my system. So far, the software has been scanning viruses pretty well. Definitely McAfee has tried to improve their softwares.

Strengths:  efficient virus removal
Weaknesses:  still slow down computer system
Review:  I bought this software mainly for virus removal and I have been satisfied with the software efficiency. McAfee is certainly not the best virusscan software in the current market. However, I think this new version has been improved a lot compared with previuos McAfee versions (e.g. still slows down your computer but not as horrible as the other versions.)

Great Product
Strengths:  Great virus, firewall and network protection. I also really like the PC Health piece.
Weaknesses:  Has slowed my outlook 2003 quite a bit, since adding the email protection.
Review:  Easy to install and operate. Was pleased with the PC health and the first scans I ran worked great. Found some cookies that Ad Aware had missed. The scan was quick compared to Trend Micro, and Norton both of which I tried before choosing this product. The Site Adviser Plus is a nice touch that is not available with the other programs.

Weaknesses:  Heavy on system resources, Medocre tools aside from antivirus.
Review:  While the pieces of this product are pretty solid, it suffers from the unfortunate pattern of being overly heavy on system resources. Strengths:  Automatically blocks and removes viruses from the computer, low cost.
Weaknesses:  Slows down the computer, uses a lot of memory.
Review:  Easy to use antivirus software blocks spyware before it installs on your computer and removes existing spyware so you can surf the Web safely. Strengths:  It's just perfect. Scans every little spy ware and deletes it.
Weaknesses:  None so far.
Review:  It is an awesome software from mcafee. You also get a firewall which much much better than windows built in firewall, so easy interference. Just takes a while to start up. Okay..... better softwares out there
Strengths:  Everything under one roof
Weaknesses:  eats cpu, runs slow
Review:  I like Mcafee products. everything under roof sounds nice however it doesn't work that great. It takes whole lot of CPU while running makes the computer slow unless you have dual core with faster processor. Though, it does what its supposed to do. I like some other security products more than this.

Resource Hog
Strengths:  None compared to other AVs I've used.
Weaknesses:  Slows my machine way down too much. McAfee always has been a resource hog.
Review:  It's not easy to clean it off your machine so I used a 3rd party uninstaller which seemed to help. I'm using a different AV now and I'm able to play games again and surf the web a lot faster.
